Rogans been doing standup for over 30 years and I can’t think of one single iconic ‘bit’ of his. To be honest I struggle to think of one that has ever raised more than a mild chuckle despite his assertions of what a straight up murderer he can be.

You can go down the list of great comedians like Louis CK, Bill Burr, Eddie Murphy, Chappelle, Patrice O’Neal, Chris Rock, Pryor, whoever and they have standout bits that hit you like a ton of bricks, have you laughing uncontrollably and stay in your mind forever.

Rogan is a fantastic podcaster and often hilarious conversationalist but he’ll never be anything more than a journeyman standup no matter how long he spends in his float tank. Id wager the vast majority of people had no idea the Fear factor guy even did standup until his podcast became well known. Some people just don’t have that natural gift you need to get there.
