Embiid is so much more superior to Dwight offensively. Magic Dwight was good because of his athleticism. His post game was average at best and often times bad. He thrives off the space he got from the 4 out shooters. You could not throw the ball into the post to Dwight and be confident in a score. Per 100 possessions Dwight's best scoring season was 10-11 at 32 a game. Joel's per 100 possessions for the past 4 seasons blow that out scoring 36-43.

Defensively Dwight is one of the greatest defensive players of all times. I would say Joel is not as good of a defender as Dwight, but inherently he's still good. The gap in their defense is not enough to make up for how much better Joel is offensively.

a lot of this sub just has nostalgia glasses on but Joel is better. After Dwight's back injury he declined hella because he really had no post game once he lost his athleticism.
