Who says I am a republican?

How? Specifically, in what ways do they 'put a huge strain'?

Taking jobs below minimum wage. Not paying taxes. Not paying for insurance. That is a simple answer.

Give them a path to citizenship

We do - its called legal immigration. President Trump said this himself here: "For those here illegally today, who are seeking legal status, they will have one route and one route only. To return home and apply for reentry like everybody else"

effectively secondary

They are not secondary. I will fight for them if they try to come in legally. I don't care where they came from. Illegal immigration is not good for a country. Supporting border laws is not xenophobic. This kind of vitriol is why President Trump won.

Your hatred of illegals

No hate, I don't support them. If they leave and come here legally, I will fight for them.
