you realize all of his views basically boil down to "there aren't 500 genders and and I don't have to call you a different word for all of them", right? it's just standard old man politics, literally nothing outrageous about it. if you can show me one thing he's said that is actually blatantly anti-trans i'd be interested to hear it, but I doubt you'll be able to produce it. I understand your point about the NYT article, but I don't see the parallel to JP.

By disagreeing with the concept of transgenderism Peterson is already in outright denial of the current accepted research, addititionally by purposely misgendering transgender individuals he is kicking an already marginalised group and has become a martyr for it, mobilising more to do as he does. While I understand he may not be attempting to say "I HATE TRANNIES!" and may just be fighting for free speech which is completely understandable, but the overall sentiment received from his interviews and the lectures I've heard on this topic is "I think these transgender people are totalitarians", this ultimately leads to further anti trans bigotry because he doesn't seperate trans people from the legislation, for example "I don't appreciate the law, but I'll call you whatever because you're a fellow person".
