Why is Jordan trying to cancel a cereal company?

I agree with you. I would only endorse the one telling kids to be at school and far from drugs. I will definitely study to see if they are ideologic, but I understand they are part of what is considered morally acceptable in a given time. With this in mind, do you think identity gender ideology is standard in society nowadays? It still looks very controversial subject and the majority of people do not endorse this, meaning, parents do not want their children to receive this stimulus... But anyway, I do not think cancelling is the way to go. As harmful as it is, there are institutions to judge this. Then one question remains: Is it boycotting the same as cancelling? Or boycotting is like a "peaceful opposition". Because from what I understood, JP is not talking about destroying the company, or shaming the CEO, or saying people should stop buying anything from the brand. Also, he is not asking supermarkets and grocery stores to take any product out, or making a defamatory campaign... He is just trying to help avoiding kids being indoctrinated in an ideology he doe not believe, the same way the majority of people. There are consequences for doing so, and I would not buy it if I had a kid...
