Josh Duggar Issues Statement: "I have been the biggest hypocrite ever..."

It's honestly almost frightening to me that you see the Duggars, of all people, as being representative Christians worthy of some sort of immense political conspiracy.

Not my view, just the view of the secular leftists who got a police chief to leak what were supposed to be sealed documents. Apparently to those gossip sites, frequented and run by gay people, taking down the Duggars was worth near criminal behavior.

Middle America just can't wait to be told what to think by some half-literate fanatic who beats his kids when they don't smile enough.

I'm sure you just love it when your religious views are misrepresented, right?

Uhh....it would make perfect sense if they held liberal positions on the economy, foreign policy, etc... Are you trying to tell me that you believe people are simply right or left, period, no nuance or exceptions? That would be in line with the tone you've taken generally; your worldview seems to be incredibly black-and-white.

No, I'm just saying that political views are informed by a certain ethos. Modern conservatism rose as a counter to the counterculture of the 60's. The social issues used by that counterculture were wedge issues to demoralize and discredit traditional values and therefore leave open room for liberal policies on the economy, the military to be pushed through easily since the opposition to those liberal policies is already unpopular for its traditionalism.

So my options are support dominionist traitors or face the entire loss of conservative political thought in America. Yeah, I believe you.

Lol, so Christian conservatives are literally "traitors"? Yup, you're such a conservative.

Lol, so a conspiracy of all the gays, the liberal media, and the "gossip sites" got together to ruin one specific hypocrite, I gotcha.

Well, they were the ones who published private info from documents that were supposed to be sealed.

Who did 9/11? Was it those pernicious gays?

Nah, a bunch of Saudis. Of course, if you asked some liberals the answer would be George Bush.

I'm sure you wish I said that.

You greatly implied that because a certain large percentage of the U.S. is Christian, that its absolutely impossible for there to be a conspiracy against a Christian public figure, which is utter nonsense.
