losecontrolandletitrock: "People ask me what’s happening, i’ll try my best to explain with my high school English..

Stade de France, during an important soccer game, 3 bombs went off. The match wasn’t interrupted, the public and journalists who were there didn’t know what happend until the end of the game to avoid panic. They were tell to stay in the stadium until everything was safe for them to leave when the police check and closed the area looking for any more danger. The President, François Hollande, was at the Stadium. 5 deads, 1 who were a kamikaze wearing a belt with explosives.

10ème arrondissement & 11ème arrondissement (Same area of Charlie Hebdo): 2 guys get off a car and start shooting people outside bars and restaurants ( Le Petit Cambodge, le Carillon…) and people in the streets. Boulevard Voltaire, 15 dead Au coin de de la Rue Bichat et de la Rue Alibert, 14 dead Rue de la fontaine au Roy, 5 dead Boulevard Beaumarchais, 1 dead Rue Charonne, 18 dead

Bataclan - Concert Hall 4 or more “persons” began shooting in the middle of the concert. Survivors said they were young, dressed casually, didn’t wearing masks, and didn’t say anything before shooting (or they didn’t hear because of the music). They targeted everybody, and continued to shoot people injured lying on the floor. A journalist was there during the concert saying they took times to reload many times their kalachnicovs. 1500 people were in the concert hall. For now, we know there is more than 70 casualties and hundred of injured.

We know 4 of them had belts with explosives. 3 decided to activate the belts, BRI, The Brigades de Recherche et d'Intervention (Research and Intervention Brigades, BRI), often called “Anti-Gang Brigades”, are elite police special units of the French Ministry of the Interior, was able to shoot the last one but they think they may be 1 ou 2 others that may have escaped. BRI was called because they specialised in robbery or hostages situations. They were also the nearest to the location. It wasn’t RAID, GIGN or GIPN but they had been call after this to search the area for any fugitives.

President François Hollande declared the ‘State of Emergency’ for the all country, which never happend before. It was declared in 2005 but for just some areas because of riots. It means, every public place will be closed for now (Concert Hall, theaters, schools, bars, restaurants, parks…), curfews, searching in homes days or nights, possibility for the police force to order people to give away any weapons they think dangerous. He declared “Closing borders” too. It doesn’t mean nobody can enter or leave the country, it means, everybody’s going to be check if they want to come in or get out of France to avoid any escape of possible terrorists. Airports have been closed. Most of the streets had been closed. Police orders citizens to stay inside.

Vigipirate, France’s National Security Alert, defined four levels of threats represented by five colors: white, yellow, orange, red, scarlet. The levels called for specific security measures, including increased police or police/military mixed patrols in subways, train stations and other vulnerable locations was on red (High chance of threat / prevent serious attack) and didn’t escalated to scarlet. Instead, the President decided to put in place the Sentinel Operation who was created after the attacks of 7, 8 & 9 last January to protect sensible areas of the country and counter any possible terrorists attacks again. Vigipirate and the Sentinel Operation are military peoples, Mostly Army, Air Force and Marines too. It means 1500 soldiers had been called, without counting those who are already there.

For now, at least 5 terrorists had been neutralized. They’re looking for others who could have escaped.

Edit - That’s what i’ve been able to watch on BFM TV (French news channel). I didn’t comment or tell what they think about the perpetrators of those awful bloodbaths…

A little message,

Thanks for all the people who opened their doors to anyone who were looking for safety. Thanks to all the Taxi and Uber drivers, who took as many people as they can in their cars to drive them to safety for Free. Thanks to all police officers, doctors, nurses… Those who open their windows to give away sheets to cover victims lying in the streets…"
