I don't either, I don't believe in cancel culture and while her comments were rooted in racism I don't believe they are a cancellable offense and that is 100% because she apologized. That doesn't mean her comments weren't racist. I assumed (maybe wrongly) that you were implying her comments weren't racist. They were, her apology doesn't change the fact that the comments were rooted in racism. Especially taking into context how and who she said it too. She was making a comment rooted in racist undertones clearly meant to insult a woman of color she didn't like and then proceeded to excuse herself by claiming her black friends and Latin ex husband as reasons why she couldn't possibly have made a racist comment. That's causal racism by definition. Again, I don't agree she should be cancel for this specific comment but that's not to say we can't call it what it was.
