I actually never attended a Tridentine mass because there aren’t any near me

The Maronite mass is more traditional than the Norvus Ordo one. You can find plenty of degenerate things going on during a Norvus Ordo that would never happen in a Tridentine or Maronite mass. Actually, one of the good thing about the Maronite mass, is that it was before pretty influenced by the Latin one, but after Vatican II, it was requested that they apply some Norvus Ordo influence.

Being a traditionalist is not about the Norvus Ordo, it’s about bringing back the old and true values of the Catholic Church, the ones present before Vatican II and if you ask me, yes, the Tridentine is better than the Norvus Ordo and more appropriate for prayer
