JRPGs with NPCs who feel like real people?

The discussions in camps are one of the best “natural” and realest dialogue I've seen in jrpg. The way they constantly pick on Lanz, and Lanz has no hard feelings over it, feels like I'm talking and teasing my bestie with no filter.

One funniest bit was about Eunie not liking a type of monster (I forgot what it was) and Sena, Mio, Lanz, and Taion keep picking and redirecting the discussion to Eunie, the dialogue goes like

“(the monster is big that’s its icky or sth like that)bla bla bla….right Eunie?”, and it keeps continuing for to the 4th person.

The whole dialogue hits home so much that I can’t stop laughing for a whole minute.
