Judeo-Christian Values (Skip to last paragraph for my question)

(skip to last paragraph for my answer)

I gotta stop before I get to your question because Christianity is not from Judaism, and no one should be saying Judaeo-Christian.

In Judaism, people don't have souls and there is no afterlife. There's animal sacrifice, and no, there was never a single verse about looking forward to an anointed hero.

In Christianity, people have souls and there are two different afterlifes (or more, depending on your version.) Jesus is a god, breaking the "there's only one god" rule of Judaism. And Paul, the guy who started it all, wasn't a Pharisee.

The only thing they seem to have in common is "gimmie money"

As for teaching people to behave, well, kindergartens do that and so does the criminal justice system. It's generally in our best interest to try to have others behave.
