Mahjong has so many unique ways to screw the player over lol. For example, when half the rounds seem to start like this:
Draw useless south wind tile. Discard.
Draw second useless south wind tile. Discard.
Opponent calls riichi.
Draw useless west wind tile. Discard.
Draw useless dragon tile because the others have already been discarded. Discard.
When rounds start like that I feel I might as well just leave right there because unless you're starting hand is already great having your first few draws give you nothing to work with feels impossible to come back from. Not to mention when an early riichi is called it makes every move for the rest of the round stressful lmao.
