I agree. It's their right to be afraid of whoever they wish. However, their fear is not based on evidence and is not a good enough excuse to bar people from using the restroom that fits their needs best. If you were mortally afraid of fat people, that wouldn't be a good excuse to ban fat people from the restroom. It would be you who needs to deal with your fear.

TERFs aren't being targeted. They are involving themselves in a discussion and they get backlash from the rude and inaccurate things they say. Do some people take the backlash to far? Of course. Every large group has someone who takes things too far. Are TERFs innocent bystanders who are victimized due to their beliefs? No.
