I know it’s late to answer, but, I just finished getting all the reverse endings (got all upright first, yay!) and with Julian’s upright ending I believe it’s all about smacking some sense into him once in a while, instead of being too soft on him. Yes I joked around with him in his route, but I always chose answers that, might seem hard at first, but are actually what he probably needs. If you’re too soft on him being like “it’s not his fault” then you are sorta playing into the ‘fallen hero’ act that Asra mentions in the beginning... There is also choosing options that has to do with asking help from others, even if Julian believes it best to do himself.

Basically I was extremely flirty but brutally honest.
