[Jump Force] (Platinum #126) A fitting screenshot for this game. Jump Force? More like DUMP Force. Ugh. After Marvel's Avengers, getting into another grindy, soulless game wasn't the best idea. I'll have to pick something I'll actually enjoy for my next Plat...

The same as everyone says: Airtight + Black Coffin, and Black Meteorite as your R2+X skill. For support, I used Luffy and Blackbeard (with his support abilities set to increase ability and Dark damage to boost Black Coffin).

You start the fight with 2 bars. Block and jump back a couple of times, put up Airtight. Charge yourself to three bars and immediately use Black Coffin. While it's charging, the CPU will try to dash around your barrier most of the time (sometimes they try to attack you, but the barrier blocks the way). When you see they have passed the barrier with their dashes, call your support. Guides recommend using Vegeta, but I had better luck with Yuffy. His fire punch attack tracks the enemy a lot better than Vegeta's energy blasts, IMO. When Luffy hits the enemy, the CPU will try to dash around your barrier from the other side. This will give you enough time to fully charge your Black Coffin and get rid of a sizeable chunk of their health bar. Usually, after a Black Coffin, the CPU goes for their ultra attack, since they have enough energy for that.

So when you regain control of your character, block. Some attacks can easily be dodged (Luffy, DIO, Jotaro, etc... those that are physical attacks, mostly), while others are almost impossible to avoid (Vegeta, that white lady from Naruto, etc... those that are energy blasts, mostly). If you can dodge it, punish the attack; I don't usually go for the full combo, since the CPU frequently dodges and punishes you mid-air - just a few hits to send them flying and give you enough space. Charge up to level 2, Airtight, level 3, Black Coffin. Sometimes you can win before that, if Luffy hits the target when they are low on health.

Getting a Perfect on round 1 is an almost assured way to get S Rank. You can go for double Perfects if the fight is easier (S Rank 100% of the time, as long as you fulfill any other requirement like finishing the round in X amount of time or using character X), or you can try to go for a 100-hit combo and an ultra attack finish. That's when Black Meteorite comes handy. If you get damaged, let the CPU hit you enough to charge your ultra meter. Then use Black Coffin until they are almost about to die. Hit them with Square, Square and then press R2 + X to initiate Black Meteorite during a combo. This makes it harder for them to avoid the attack. Be careful, as this piece of shit game can't even do that right, and many times my attack would just fly past the enemy without any reason at all...

Don't be afraid to repeat the same mission over and over if you find it easier than others. You can get ten S Ranks in the same mission and it will still count towards the Trophy. For Expert, you'll be doing Level Training 1 and Upgrading 1 a lot, so those are two perfect candidates for the Apex Fighter Trophy.

Alternatively, save yourself the frustration and don't play this game. It's very bad :/
