jumping from overwatch too paladins

I have played both games since their respective closed betas and personally I think that overwatch is a better game currently. However, I still play paladins a fair amount because in my opinion it is much more focused on individual skill instead of teamwork. I would say casual paladins is more fun than overwatch because the lack of teamwork affects the fun of the game much less. Overwatch is easy enough to get into but has a very high skill ceiling, consisting of teamwork, ult usage and raw aim, but none of that really matters because coordination will win out against raw skill at most skill ranks. I play at a fairly high rank in overwatch and I love the ranked play, teamwork can triumph over almost anything, I have won games against hackers even. I come from tf2 where in casual 1 person can carry an entire team and that element is missing from overwatch but it exists in paladins, the ults in this game require less coordination than those in overwatch because of the health pools.

In this game it is much easier to survive your own ultimate because if you are intelligent you will use it at full hp or in the company of a healer. In overwatch most powerful ults are easy to end by simply focusing that person (Mcree, soldier, pharah, Genji) and as a result they require help from someone else usually in the form of another ultimate. In paladins many ults can be used solo, for example cassie's ult, similar to widow's, is mainly a solo ultimate because all it does is reveal enemies. It is helpful but mostly useful by itself.

TLDR; Paladins is more of a skill based game, teamwork is good but skill can get you much farther in this game than in overwatch. Overwatch is a game built for working together and aiming like a god, or a hacker, can only get you so far.
