That is true, but the label is on all hot coffee regardless. It doesn't matter if it's dangerous or not. People don't have the sense to be careful with things that are potentially dangerous. If I had a strawberry allergy, I wouldn't be eating strawberries. Yet, the label that says the are strawberries in it is necessary to cover the company in case some idiot with an allergy dies from eating them so they don't get sued. The fact that it's required by law to have that warning label reinforces that it's a big enough problem the government had to get involved.
