You get a straight man who’s mentally hurt and he’s told to “take it like a man” or “crying is for the weak” and shit like that. In some cases they’re not taken seriously at therapy and celebrities have been made fun for tearing up on camera. So, a month was made for men’s mental health to try and bring awareness to the issue, but unfortunately it’s not marketable enough. Not saying pride and men’s mental health can’t coexist, but when you got conpanies pushing men’s mental health aside cause it’s not as marketable as making rainbow cupcakes, there’s obviously some issues. Just think men’s mental health should be dealt with in a way that doesn’t take away from pride. But instead it’s argued about at the end of the month cause it was ignored again.
