haha, so indubitably triggered. You obviously don't frequent film/game/tv reddits. Marking trailers as spoiler material is common practice.
You pontificate about protecting moron snowlflakes from offensiveness, yet all we're doing here is letting others know it reveals plot points of a film their a fan of. No harm, no foul.
They wouldn’t just not watch the trailer?
Well many trailers don't actually reveal the outcome of major set pieces in the film, so no. A lot of teasers just set up the events, and don't reveal the pay off (.. you do know what a spoiler actually is, right?).
Either way, the irony is priceless. You rant about 'protecting' fans from spoliers, yet here you are having a meltdown about something that has zero bearing on you. You're issue stems from the (OMG SUCH AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF TIME CONSUMING) effort to include a spoiler tag for these people, when you're not even the one that has made the effort to post it.
How about this as a solution to your little life-shattering complex: if YOU post a trailer.. don 't mark it for spoilers (GASP!). I know this may be hard to comprehend, but how about we let the people posting the media to make their own decisions. If that includes an effortless choice to spoiler-tag something for fans that may wish to go in blind, then so be it.
You'll be fine. Just breathe.
