Sometimes I feel like people just love the idea of a new signing. Honestly if Allisson did come in, can any of us really say he’ll be a 90 million improvement on Karius?

I know Karius had a really bad champions league final, but, that single game aside, he genuinely was very good for the second half of the season. There was no one with common sense who was thinking a goalkeeper upgrade was priority number 1 back in March/April. One game under suspect circumstances should not change that. Of course if mentally Karius is gone there should be some cause for concern, but considering all the stuff that has come out since I think he’ll be in a good mindset for this season
