All of this is textbook gaslighting by Republicans. Look at any time they run anti-minority stories this is exactly how it always goes. Something shitty affects minorities. All of a sudden Republicans jump to explain how this hurts straight white people. Cops/politicians provide evidence that the Republicans are right. Weeks/months later it all blows up as the Republicans clearly manufactured the whole thing. Feature white liberals sucking conservative cock to prove they aren't being irrational.
