Just because a behavior is bad, doesn't mean that the opposite behavior is good.

Pretty much. There are a lot of similarities and trends among the demographic we are known to criticize, but it's silly to act like these similarities and trends are strict rules with no variation. Honestly, that's bound to get people in trouble - the idea that "x is bad, so y must be good". No, x and y can both be pretty bad. Or in the greater context, they can be one thing that's wrong with an otherwise okay person (example: my cousin has a tendency to one-up people and humblebrag - but she's also genuinely been there for me at my lowest points and stood up for me when I've been in bad relationships). Everyone chooses what they will put up with in a relationship, romantic or otherwise. You don't have to tolerate any of it, but people are all different.
