Just Because You Have Gold Damage Doesn't mean your carrying

Preach.

Especially when coming from Moiras or Reins.

I'm a healer/ Mei main and whenever I play Mei people use their gold medals as argument for me to switch off.

The other day I had a Rein literally screaming at me to switch because I would suck hard as DPS, because he has gold damage and elims.

Yeah. All he did was swining his hammer mindlessly at walled off and frozen enemies that could not defend themselves.

I was happy he took advantage of my walls since so many people don't do that, but I was wondering where he thought those walled off and frozen enemies served on a silver plate to him would come from.

In another game I had a DPSing Ana boasting about how she has gold elims while her whole team was dying left and right.

Same with Lucio. Wallriding and everything is cool, but maybe the reason you are having gold elims and damage is because you can stay alive the longest and everyone else is getting eaten alive, not because you are "carrying".

As a side note: if the team is getting dominated massively, there is no "carrying" in the first place.
