I guess another thing i would mention is that if u asked an avatar fanboy who their fave characters were they would say the obvious 2: zuko and iroh and the 3rd would be aang. But why aang? Aang was bland. He was a monk. he was perfect. he had a sprinkle of self doubt and trauma just enough to actually make him s a d in some parts of the show. However mostly they would say aang because hes powerful and has epic moments. If we being real, despite how good the female characters of the show are little boys who grew up with avatar are still not picking katara as their fave and theres something wrong with that. She needed more epic moments like Azula or Toph. We need more youtube videos diagnosing katara and her arc the same way they do for zuko every 5 minutes
