Find a distraction. What do you like to do or are curious to try? Give yourself a break. When we love, we fall hard. But you deserved better. It’s not healthy to stick around for someone who constantly diminishes, abuses, humiliates you. If she did all and you kept allowing it, that says something about her but infinitely more about you. Give yourself some love and respect. No one can make you feel inferior without your permission. No one. I’m not trying to add salt to a wound but the only way to get over her and this is to realize that she likely left you because you provided her needs with too much ease. She shouldn’t have taken advantage of it but you didn’t provide much of a fight for her either. She can’t love you if you don’t think you deserve it or better. No one likes a doormat. You let her walk allover you. The only way you’re going to garner any respect or admiration on her part is to work on you for a bit. You will find that if you work on you for a bit that your self esteem will grow. Your confidence and independence will grow. Never depend on someone to complete you. You complete you. Be the buffet.
