Just curious - how many here are under 30 and listens to The Doors, and how did you discover the band?

I'm 17 years old and one time while at my father's 40th birthday party his best friend drank a bottle of jack Daniel's and got coked out of his brain and started absolutely chewing my ear off about jim Morrison and his poetry. The next morning I listened to people are strange, and it felt surreal. Then I started searching up his live performances which absolutely blew my fucking mind, and that led me to oliver stones film which I enjoyed. I understand how that film sensationalised who jim was but it gave me more context and just sent me down a rabbit hole of listening to every album and interview. Nobody sounded like the doors before the doors, and nobody replicated it afterwards. Complete and utter originals.
