I went from hating V3's ending aboustley, to just appreciating it for what it is similar to the other 6th Trials. I found all of them quite... mind boggling. (and not the best :p) I never believed what happened in Dr1 was actually real and it was all fake. That Junko was lying ultimately, and there was no way the world went to shit. This was months before i saw dr2 and ever knew what happened, so I was left with the cliffhanger of never knowing.
Funnily enough, I believed everything Tsumigi said in the last trial, quite opposite of dr1, and the only reason i did is for the exact same reason i never believed anything in dr1. For dr1, it sounded crazy what happened. But it did, as for this, due to me knowing danganronpa logic, i just literally gave in to Despair so easily. Everything before, and Everything currently was all fake.
The Ending is left ambiguous really, although at first i believed what Tsumigi said was true, and this ending was the worst thing to come. (I don't believe this anymore, but I still think this is the worst one in the franchise.) I opened up to it. There's some evidence of how Tsumigi was lying about you, no one after getting the clothes on actually said that what was said in the video, and they were kidnapped by the way. In the prologue. I'm pretty sure that isn't brought up anywhere. It's very possible that it was bullshit really, about them auditioning. However i cannot confirm as stuff is let ambiguous.
Someone commented on the Videos (Rantaro Message Video and The Auditions) being fake, that Tsumigi faked it. I forgot how it was. But it's hard to uncover what's a truth and lie. Personally, I believe all their personalities in-game was really how they were. They weren't like the others at all, Before the first flashback light they had no idea who they really were or why they were there. If they truly knew, I'm sure they would realise it literally in an instant where they were but they didn't. Proof that they didn't know about the whole killing game.
As for the world being obsessed with Danganronpa... That kinda makes me think about the whole how I didn't believe Junko actually took over the world but y'know, Danganronpa!
for me, this ending is my least favourite but i could consider it possibly the most fucked up one next to 1. Knowing that you're MADE to play a Killing Game for Entertainment is Enough. 1 lured the Symbols of Hope out, however V3 was made PURELY for people with entertainment. They were literally killed and had to take part in this fictional world for people's enjoyment. They had to kill eachother because they were forced to and had to go against eachother. Some suffered like Kokichi and Miu, very hated because of what they were set in. People who didn't know any better and were forced here, literally kids. While i understand the emotional part being taken away, all of them were literally innocent people techincally. And some people got a fucked up deal out of it, ESPECIALLY Kokichi and Kiyo. That's real Despair. the other endings literally didn't give you as much DESPAIR as THIS game.
Honestly only bit I really still hate is how i found Tsumigi boring still and how i think the "made up plotline" was just kinda ehhhhhh to me.
