Currently at the moment, she stopped keeping contact with this friend because of this reason. I guess I should’ve specified in the post that her complaining about not being able to have a friendship with her old best friend stopped a few months ago.

I actually just talked to her today about how it was stupid to try and keep this friendship and how that whole situation bugged me. She was understanding and admitted she was being selfish trying to repair a doomed friendship without thinking about how it’d affect our relationship.

For me, I just think it would’ve been a lot less upsetting if I would’ve known about this hookup from the beginning than after all the conversations about this friend.
