I just got dumped again

I hear ya.

I had a guy approach me and ask me out in public, not even on the website. There's instant chemistry between us, which is pretty rare for me to experience with anyone.

The second time we met, he quickly established he was only looking for 'casual'. I told him I could roll with that, despite the fact that it always seems to blow up on in my face.

He's always come over when we get together and stayed the night, despite it never going to far physically. He would also always stay super late the next day. It was awkward (for me) and I haven't figure out how to politely kick someone out, ha.

Fast forward to ~4th time seeing each other, I make it crystal clear that if he wants to come back that night, I'm ready. He says he has to leave town the next morning; I knew this, just wasn't sure how early he was leaving. He hits me up that night anyway, comes over, and just as we're getting to shirts coming off, he says "I have somewhere to be".

I wasn't happy, but I just stayed quite while trying to process why he would come over at all and what he just said. He said "oops, there I go getting in my own way again". Didn't yell, just excused myself and said something along the lines of "Okay then, well if you have somewhere to be....".

Dude stays in my apartment for 20+ min! I figure that out when I go back to my living room to find him sitting at my bedroom door; could have sworn I heard the door open/close. He wanted to talk and I was in no mood, so I told him to leave.

It's been dead since. I'm still 'wtf'ing over that one.
