Just got dumped after a short relationship. It might've not been a long one but it was the most meaningful one I've had in a long time. Trying to smile through the pain.

Hey dude! Something similar happened to me recently. Just when I was getting invested and thinking things were off to a good start-- they ended.

The good news...you seem like a solid dude. And moments like these are an opportunity to bounce back higher than ever. A moment to contemplate Personal Development goals.

Setting a few achievable goals for the next month and a half will be a game changer! (do a coursera course, gain x lbs. of muscle, make 3 new friends, meditate 10 mins a day, etc. etc.)

For me, I'm gonna hit the gym. You should too! Use this disappointment as a way to lift heavier and with more determination...until - suddenly - you are lifting for different reasons....because your muscles look bigger - and then because it makes you more confident - because endorphins are amazing - and then all the sudden you either let that lady back in your life or realize she's old news and you're on to bigger and better things!

Anyway you look at it, you'll be great. Hope you use this as a way to bounce back big time. You got this. You the man!
