I hear ya I was hoping for a Robot/Android race as well, with Valkana being a place of magic and technology coexisting I love the idea of the soul of a mage being placed within the mind core of a machine/golem. Here was what I came up with for a Runed Machine with a Soul inside able to harness magic.

Race:Magical Android Choose one other Race this is the race of your soul. Add 1 to your Willpower and Subtract 1 from Communication Pick one of the following ability focuses: Intelligence (Research) or Willpower (Self-Discipline). You have Dark Sight, which allows you see up to 20 yards in darkness without a light source.(Cybernetic Eyes) Your Speed is equal to 10 + Dexterity (minus armor penalty if applicable). Immune to disease, hunger, and suffocation. Roll Once on the Magical Android Benefits table and once on the table for your Soul's race for additional benefits. Roll 2d6 and add the dice together. If you get the same result twice, re-roll until you get something different. Penalties Cannot Smell or Taste Cannot swim. Cannot use health potions. Adds 1 strain to every other spell cast. Cannot be modified with Cybernetic Limbs. Magical Androids are at odds between the computer/logic and their soul/emotions whenever a obvious logical choice is in conflict with the soul's emotional reaction subtract 3 from the roll for the test. 2d6 Roll Benefit 2 +1 Intelligence 3-4 Focus: Intelligence (Scientific Lore) 5 Focus: Dexterity (Lockpicking)-Applicable to computer locks only 6 Weapon Group: Blaster Pistols 7-8 +1 Perception 9 Focus: Dexterity (Initiative) 10-11 Focus: Intelligence (Computers) 12 +1 Constitution * If the class you choose provides this already,you can take the focus Fighting (Axes) instead.
