Just had a conversation with my wife...

You know, there was a time in the US where a person who didn't complete their HS degree could go out and get a job, and support an at home wife, a few kids, have a house and a car. Most health care could be paid out of pocket. As society has become more advanced, efficient, and productive, it should be easier than ever to be financially successful, but instead it's harder than ever. At that time, people could also get a min wage job, and finance their way through college debt free.

They say, go into debt, go get more education, plan your finances as it becomes harder and harder to make it. This is all bullshit designed to hide the fact that all the government taxes and financial manipulation, regulations are sucking life out of the economy.

What makes a society prosperous and successful isn't a mystery. We already know what does. In many ways, we've already lived and experienced it, seen evidence of it in various parts of our lives. The struggle is getting the state off our back, that's the real challenge, the real battle for the future.
