You know it's funny in this election, looking purely at the issues, I would have almost certainly voted for Beto. Just felt better for me. It's like I can see how Cruz can be a douche, but he's our douche, and does stand up for Texas. I felt like Beto would be nicre/different because he'd be more likable in the senate and get more people to work with him.

So I was voting for Beto.

Then there was a slew of these left wing bimbos who've know fuck all about Texas telling people that they're "pieces of shit if you vote Cruz.". Then I saw these left wing media personalities insult rural Texas and call them hicks, people like my grandfather. Then you see these elitist hacks on TV vouch for Beto all because they hate the orange man in the white house. Finally, I saw some people confront Cruz and his family in a restaurant with one moron yelling "Beto is hotter", it's like...are you seriously upset with the legislation or were you just fucking around with someone because he differs from you politically?

So for that, I'm voting Cruz because fuck all of you in the other states. I was going to vote Beto but because you people, who likely haven't set foot in Texas, are fucking around with our officials, well, go fuck yourselves. I'm voting Cruz JUST to spite you assholes.
