You might consider WindowsMR headset for a shorter time to save up money, $215 (link below). There are 4 brands which are mostly identical, plus Samsung at slightly higher resolution with built in headphones at a higher price.

They also all have higher resolution than Vive or rift, almost as high a Vive pro. The flip side is the sweet spot to center it without blurriness is smaller, and there's no physical adjustment if you eyes are significantly wider or narrower apart compared to average.
