Imagine that x1000 because you’re being compared to someone who a LITERAL extension of yourself. Imagine being told that you’re literally the same, from your date of birth to your looks. And that “ oh so she’s the hot twin” or “the more popular twin” or even “the cooler twin. to be in the same group or friends/ acquaintances and to be compared to your twin constantly is exhausting. I can understand with the sibling/twin mistakes. If My twin sister and I are together with my older sister we get triplet remarks on the constant. But it’s not the same when someone compares you too someone older/different from you. But to hear that you’re the less smart, lest pretty, less popular/ less important than the other twin is devastating. It hits so much differently.
