Everyone's talking about joyland or whatever when we should've rather gotten the Javed Iqbal biopic released. I do not watch any Pakistani or Indian movies because they are bs, but that Javed Iqbal biopic, it was def something worth a watch. Why didn't people like you raise awareness back then, you do realize that there are more kids being abducted, killed and rapped, more than what a certain minority is going through or has been facing, we have way bigger problems that nobody is bold enough to discuss so we distract and hide our actual problems under problems which are serious but in comparison to our bigger problems aren't at all. This movie received awards and whatnot but nobody even remembers where Javed Iqbal went, where's the fudging award for it. Thousands of children go missing every year and these are just reported incidents, the actual number's in millions literally, only a handful of cases are lucky enough to get blessed by hashtags. There are pedo's lurking around openly, rappists are everywhere, serial killers and whatnot and when a movie was actually made on this important subject nobody even cared if it was banned, yet somehow this particular movie gets so much hype. truly shows where the society stands, people don't care about the millions of children being se*ually assaulted, abducted, married, kept as literal slaves since apparently this is a bigger problem and gets more limelight because it is being funded and appraised by a western society that literally had an island and plane dedicated to as*aulting teens and kids.
