youre scapegoating universal healthcare for problems with drug addiction. the problem isnt universal healthcare, its that your cousin is addicted to drugs. why not talk about the blank checks we give pharma companies that plan and want to get people like your cousin addicted to opiates? fix the holes in the system that allows addicts to abuse universal healthcare, but dont throw it all out. Other western developed countries spend less on healthcare than we do per capita and have greater health outcomes than we do. We need to move to a similar system, not keep our old outdated corrupt one because your cousin is able to abuse the system a little (which is a drop in the ocean, addicts abusing universal healthcare doesnt add up to a significant amount vs other more easily fixed problems)
