Is it just me or are men now the ones who seek after kids more often?

I do not disagree. But more men underwent those hardships than women which is definitely a fact.

Being a man is a dice roll. More men are winners and live the high life and more men are losers. One needs only to look at who the majority of homeless are to see as well as majority of accident deaths being murdered and injuries. Win big or lose everything. There is a glass floor as well.

Women definitely were but never as much as men. Each sex had their hardships.

"And aren’t the people who settled up the draft in the first place men?"

Indeed. Old men sending young boys with macho fantasies for adventure into the grindfest that is World War. They come for the excitement but they got the mud and blood of the trenches.

" Also most guys now would be against storming Omaha beach, most guys aren’t the macho, miners you try play it as. "

None of those guys are macho either. Training and discipline ensured that they didn't simply roll up into a ball. Plus there is no escape so either fight or die. The eastern front was even worse however there are even reports of guys with guts hanging out still shooting.

"Considering that was pretty much idolized in the 50’s as part of the American dream and where are this bullshit comes from, I think it’s the other way around. White collar guys looking down on the blue collared."

I hate that too. Blue collar men made the white collar man if I would even call them men possible. Them snotty office fauna deserves a smack upside their heads.

"But I’ve seen more guys be against women in the military than women."

Based on physical capacity as well as just macho idea that battlefields and its dirty and hellish nature not for women.

Probably also similar to politics. Which itself is a dirty, dirty and violent arena too. I mean Roman Emperors keep getting assassinated for example.

My only objection is somehow men's lives are easier by default. Its different. And its more of a public nature.

All of our lives have been improved with technology however.
