Is it just me or ate the casters being way more critical and negative as of late?

You see that in content creation like writing and videos. Half the time it's people who haven't actually watched matches and/or just go to Liquipedia and read that or something. And sometimes, even if they've watched every game they have no idea of what's happening or are too biased in some way that it brings everything down. I myself ended up writing about stuff I wasn't 100% confident about quite a bit.

And what Dream said applies to a lot, I never really talked to people outside of my OWWC series, most content creators don't as far as I know. Even then 60% of the people who replied back about the WC stuff weren't exactly the most helpful. Whether lack of time, interest, or knowledge, it varies, but not exactly the makings of an insightful project.

Not trying to defend people like Wolf and ZP, just saying that I don't think most people are actually passionate or unbiased enough to do meaningful stuff. Casting, writing, videos, if you look into it I feel like 80% of it is just bullshit.

That said, the OWL casters are the most visible and control the narrative the most, so they should probably hold themselves to a higher standard. Instead of, well, grilling on a top Lúcio and Baptiste player for an hour or so because you're biased to the other top Lúcio and Bap player when that role is the least of the team's issues.
