Ah, so I looked it up and that's even more sad what that game is about. But then again it seems to suggest they come to terms with their disabilities? Emi I do recall mentioning running in the mod Blue Skies. I didn't know she lost her legs but got into running anyway and was good at it. Good for her. Well a character like Emi would be nice anyway though maybe not disabled. Not that being disabled should be ridiculed or shunned. I've seen people like that myself and they can be just as nice if not more so than "normal" people. Heh. Below the knees? She would still be cute from the knees up and there is nothing wrong with prosthetics. Once upon a time there were no such things or you might wear a wooden peg. I think those have come some ways if not a long ways. Though it would be nice to have robotic ones with synthetic skin. It doesn't describe her prosthetics does it? They could be kind of cool depending on maybe some coloring or something.
