Sum up of IJL (It's Just Lunch), as a decent looking (“White/Asian”, Engineer). You pay your cash, they bring you in and have a short conversation with you, the girls that work there are usually bubbly and HB7+ with a “dating is easy mentality”. You are supposed to have a minimum of 1 date a month (which is the average). There were some months where I had two. (~ $175 per date/one a month). They ask you questions like: what are your hobbies, what are you looking for. If you tell them that you are looking for a “fit brunette with fair skin and a rack you want to bounce like your Mike Tyson”. They are going to look at you with distain, there are no men that work there that would truly understand what you are asking for. So you say “smart, caring, trustworthy, and takes care of herself, between the ages of x and x” They look you straight in the eye and lie “Great, I already have someone in mind.”
The first time ($1600). Yes, 13 years ago I was 25 and rolling in cash, freedom and occasional plates (called them rebounds before RedPill), but wanted something more serious (different story). Signed up because they said they had girls 22-25, they did, but it was like visiting a zoo. If they were young they looked like cottage cheese loaded into a plastic bag. Not one was a better than a 3 and worst part they were SUPER HAPPY to see you, they wanted to know everything about you and gave you their number. The others suddenly jumped up to 30 years old and wanted nothing to do with a young guy. WTF. I actually got a deal to continue the service for another year because I complained so much, but was also all the girls had fun on the dates I did, I made sure of that. Never once did I feel like they had listened to the feedback I had given them about younger girls, smarter girls, fitter girls, they just didn’t have them. Had 1 second date, why because she was decent looking a year older than me, and I thought why not, lets see where this goes. (nowhere, she met a guy 8 years older than her that was a lawyer).
Second time, time skip to now 2015. Once you are on that list they call you ever year to see if you need some dates. Sure, why not. Same price, nope $2100. It was a mistake. I remember some of the girls older than me when I first did it they were hot older chicks. Now, they are scrambling to get someone. Way different experience, these girls have been used, abused, and have already bought their first cat. I get like 2 dates a month, I just make fun of them for an hour. Just to see how far I can go before they get up and leave. They never do. Maybe because they cannot get out of that chair. Feedback after the date is a joke, they do nothing to change who you are seeing. I have met two girls through this that are just below that un-repairable damage threshold. One is a current plate (30 yr divorcee, good shape, great humor, horrible in bed (good sign of low partner count?)), the other just flaked.
After 6 months of my current (2nd time) I actually cringe when they call me to set up a date because I know it’s going to be with some fat sjw that still believe they deserve a fat wallet and 6 pack abs, but you can run game/alpha stuff on them and they EAT it up.
What its worth: you CAN find some that are decent here, if you are an average (not fit) guy and average job you can be happy with some of these girls, especially if you are older than 35. You can use them to practice your frame by asking tough questions and seeing what they do. Try to get them to move restaurants, they are told not too, but its fun to do. Get them to tell you about their previous dates and what they did wrong. You never have to buy them a drink/meal, they are told to buy their own (Only one person ordered something more than a side salad, cheapskates). Going on these you can find some great restaurant/bar combos and come back to them later. If you are really good, you can go up and hit on other girls while she waits (though it pisses off the match makers if they hear about it, test that frame!)
TLDR; Its just lunch is run by hot married women selling used girls and beta guys. If you happen to be one of the non-beta’s there might be one decent, but honestly not worth it. You get 1-2 dates a month, they just nod their head to feed-back and just want to up-sell you stuff. Save your money, take the $3000 rent a limo, working girl, two bodyguards and hit the town, you will have more luck.
