I just realized I haven't thought, talked or heard about Tigard in years.

I don't understand what is to be gained by making this kind of post. Are you worried about your east side street cred? Are you afraid people might think you cross the river? Do you live in Gresham or lents and you're just kinda looking for sometime to kick? You're a vegan? Or at least don't own a TV?

The attitude is weird to me. Are we supposed to be impressed that you don't leave your little neighborhood? Is it cool to be narrow and insular and ignorant?

Guess where I spent several hours today? In Sherwood! Have you heard of that? It's a suburb! Crazy as shit, I knew. There is a home Depot. A fucking Walmart. But there's also a national wildlife refuge where I walked for hours.

Tigard is pretty suburban, roads and fast food and a Costco. But it has an incredible hobo free River trail and park. It's fuckin amazing to run 6 miles and see ZERO tents and basically no graffiti. The Hoboscore ™ is almost none.

So yeah it's a thing. Maybe not your thing, but if you took the time to investigate it, you might find the beauty.
