Sorry but logical fallacies are not sound arguments. We both agree it’d be more impressive if the content wasn’t purchased. You can extrapolate anything and dismantle it if you want with “logic” but the slippery slope you’re sliding down is fallacious. Unreal is a game engine that ships without assets for a reason. It is understood it builds on the work of generations of engineers and programmers for the purpose of others building original content and new experiences with it. When someone like Epic has done all the leg work to give you a flexible blank slate that can look AAA with a few check boxes in a post process volume, it’s inherently lazy to not make your own content. Is it wrong? No. But it’s not that impressive at all.
