Just redid my website. Please let me know what I can do better. Thanks in advance!

Hey Henry, my thoughts as follows:

  • not sure what your specialty is. You've got automotive, portraits, landscape/architectural, weddings. It's hard for me to get a sense for who you are as an artist because there are so many different niches. What do you want to be known for shooting? Or what do you want to be hired by clients for. Cater your website only to that subject. Shoot it all you want cause you enjoy it, but what you present to clients has to be well defined.

  • additionally the processing/tones/feel of each subject is different. i.e. Your automotive work looks really different from your portraiture. Not a bad thing necessarily, but when the photos are so easily compared it's tough for me to get a sense for how you'll create work for me if I hire you.

  • the flow and navigation of the site works very well.

  • there are some images in categories that probably don't belong. I.e. Statue of Liberty in the landscape portfolio. Likewise some shots in here that I would consider architectural, and some I consider lifestyle. As in the surfer. I'd break these out into new portfolios. Or remove them based on what you want to be know for shooting. The surfer shot is a great image, but if you want to specialize in weddings it doesn't fit.

  • to my eye you've got some strong images in the automotive and portrait sections.

  • you could probably edit a bit more tightly. The automotive portfolio, as well as landscape portfolio have a couple of very similar shots. I'd say get rid of the duplicate/similar images. This would also hold true if the same people are used more than 1-2 times. Better to have 5 great unique images per portfolio than 20 with duplication of subject.

  • typo in the about page. "I am specialize in" just remove the "am". Also same page "pictures retouching" should be just "retouching" or "photo retouching".

Technically the compositions look good. Keep an eye on straightening horizon lines on a few of them, but otherwise pleasing images. Keep up the good work sir! Hope this is helpful.
