Just saw elitism kill a raid group

Recently, I app-ed for a guild that had a reasonable standing in the community, and thought I might be a good fit for them. During my app run, I kept my DPS in the top 5 for all the fights did a good job of following their strategies. Nary a negative barb thrown my way. Then during Ursoc heroic, I ran the charge slightly too far, which I'll admit affected DPS a bit. After the wipe, I got the third degree pretty bad because we missed the DPS check. No joke, the officership jumped on me hard for one minor mistake.

Fast forward 2 more attempts. We have literally a perfect go at Ursoc and were clipping away at his final 7% with everyone alive when...the IRL girl healer ends up tunneling when she gets targeted for a charge and the bear completely obliterates the raid.

Wanna know how they all handled that gargantuan mistake that cost everyone a heroic first kill? Hearty laughter. Not even a raised voice. Suffice to say, I was pretty goddamn pissed I got hammered for a non-mistake, while one of their guildies who just happens to be the leader's GF, gets a major pass.

Last night I found out the guild imploded when I was awaiting an answer on my app. Officership had a giant argument and thats that. All I can say is karma is a bitch.
