I’m not sure if you’re trying to imply that I am “faking” psychosis. I am a veteran who was diagnosed while in the military, so I can assure you that I endured extensive testing over the course of multiple years before I was diagnosed. All of these drawings were done at the beginning stages of psychosis, when I am more coherent and actually able to make art. Later in this episode I was not coherent at all and was hospitalized, which is usually how the cycle goes for me. Maybe your experiences don’t align with mine if you are schizophrenic, but that doesn’t mean my experiences aren’t valid and real. I am schizoaffective bipolar type. I appreciate your interest in my art and your willingness to ask questions.
