Just started playing cyberpunk 2077 and I don't get the hate at all, it runs amazingly well and the graphics are near groundbreaking

Your opinions are valid, but here's my take on it: I've seen it quite a few times. The Joi scenes are alright, but they're not what my mind jumps to when I think of the film. I have to have a conversation about the movie before I start remembering them.

I liked 2049 because of its deliberately slow pace, visuals, and story. It brought me into a horrible, unforgiving world like no other movie had at the time. You can call it misogynistic, which is fair, but I don't think it actively endorses any of that misogyny. It's an unfortunate and deeply uncomfortable part of its world and the film makes no attempt to glamorize it. Which I understand will still come off as problematic to some.

I don't know. Dunno if you can tell, but I'm a guy, so maybe my opinion isn't valid in any way to you. I'd understand that.
