Just thinking.

Yeah. For sure lol we’re all crazy man. Haha just kidding. But somebody posted something like “to dumb people, the really smart people sound like really crazy people.” Lol I think there’s a grain of truth to that. I don’t think anyone is “dumb”, really. Everyone just has different skills, and things that are important to them. There’s a lot of types of intelligence. But it does hold weight in some ways. You can’t maintain a “normal” or “reality” based point of view all the time and have unique thoughts that challenge the typical, and the known. You have to go outside of the bounds of “normal” or boring day to day thought to reach a place where you are touching ideas and possibilities that other people haven’t already trampled, and are out of the ordinary., and to some people, that is crazy. That’s where the truth is. Usually people can’t see it until the masses have adopted it and it becomes “common knowledge”, but it has to start somewhere, as once being someone’s “crazy” thought.

But yeah, exactly. That’s pretty much exactly what I was saying along the lines of suffering and joy. If you were happy all of the time, and never knew suffering, you wouldn’t be able to know that joy was an elevated state, because it’s your normal state. It’s your constant reality, and eventually you couldn’t appreciate it as joy. Without suffering, there is no joy.

I like that though. I think that’s a cool idea. The sort of duality, and connectedness of question and answer. The relation making them part of the same. But yeah, I agree. There is no “nothingness” to go to, as we’re here now. This experience exists, and therefore there will always be something here In the right now. Even in physics, matter never really goes away. It just changes form. To energy. It can not be completely destroyed and become nothing. At the most fundamental level of reality though, conscious, in my own experiences and belief, is all connected. In some way. To some degree. What that means for the eternal, or if we’re part of a larger whole “entity” or larger consciousness, I couldn’t even guess. But there’s certainly more to it than this physical reality. Which we can’t even explain truly. We have no idea what matter, or this reality really truly is. The best we can do is relate it to other things that we already know how to describe, in abstract ways.

But I think that just pondering it gives us some fresh insight, and relating it back to your story, perspective. Which determines your reality. In my personal opinion, in ways we can’t begin to understand. Not in this current existence. But maybe we aren’t supposed to. Maybe it would defeat the purpose of life in and of its self. Who’s to say.
