Just wanted to talk about another YT channel, Jim Can't Swim, that experienced a similar treatment

I'm actually suspicious of JCS.

Their oldest patreon fans were already aggravated about re-uploads. Where JCS would delete a video and then re-release it months or years later. The videos in question were even just set to 'private,' so tougher to know if Youtube did that or JCS did that.

JCS will 100% copyright claim re-uploaders of 'removed' content. So, anyone that gets any bright ideas about, "I'll help by re-uploading the videos!" No, apparently they do not want you doing this. That tells me that they still have intentions for their copyright.

Likewise, on their subreddit it's an absolute bloodbath when people post re-uploads or anything about how to see the videos, https://www.reveddit.com/v/jimcantswim/ & https://www.reveddit.com/v/JCSCriminalPsychology/ There are even banned posts asking about their Patreon. It was troubling seeing people that thought they were helping and were the first ones to be banned.

According to them

It's their choice if they don't want to be open about some of this stuff. They are a company, after all, I heard it's three people that work together, then they hire that voice actor to read the script.

The last public patreon statistics show they had 31,163 patreons in 2019, 4th largest at the time.

Historically, we see that they're in the habit of dropping old videos to repost later, then I see that vague tweet about their ex-wife at youtube. (Little strange since it's 3 people) And I see that they have a direct economic incentive to be a trending hashtag. Has anyone seen anything conclusive that youtube dropped the video and not just JCS setting it to private?
