I was dating a third wave feminist (well not dating because she didnt believe in that, but we were mutually exclusive unless she was around "cool people", then she would say she was single) Im a biker i build bikes and have done over 400000 km on two wheels back then i used to lift weights run and do a lot of boxing to stay fit and so i can always protect myself. She didnt like violence, but really liked how i could pick her up during sex and that, would get visibly excited watching me work the bag, but didnt like the fact i was strong from weights "i just think people should be strong from their lifestyle, its a bit try hard to lift weights, i know this farmer guy hes not as strong as you but its all natural you know" Would only be friends with "cool" people like band members writers artists trans gay ect. She stayed with me long enough to see me stop lifting weights and lose all conditioning, learn how to ride her new motorbike (cause motorbikes are cool) Make me walk away from a group of three guys who were disrespecting me and mine. When before the head fuck from her i would have just started breaking noses when they started throwing things at us. After she made me walk.away with "i cant stand violence rararara" grabbing my arm and leading me away. shes telling a story about this dumbarse anarchist graffiti artist that she wants to sleep with that signs his name and address to the graffiti and has done stints in jail over it. How he is huge from lifting weights while in jail and that if he was here he would have stopped them.... If i pointed out the contradictions she would just say she needed time and wouldnt return my calls for a week. We stopped seeing each other because she wanted a real relationship (which is all i wanted from the start) and farmer guy was in the picture a week later. She seemed to subscribe to many different ideologys that she didnt understand, by the end i could see she was cherry picking ideas from the people she looked up to, but if you asked for qualifying reasons why she subscribed to the ideas she would just get angry at me and change the subject, i was literally trying to understand, in their world it seemed the things they were saying seemed plausible, i couldnt get past the contradictions. There was a lot of mental gymnastics involved in and discussion, it was just easier to shit my mouth and try to listen when in a group. Well my opinion wasnt valid in their world im from a poor family a white cis male. They were all living off their parents money.
